Social Design 360° Water Barrier Water Barrier by Tay Meng Kiat Nicholas When flash floods or high tide arrives, the road barrier will move its metal shutter to the other road barrier, creating a line of defence across the flood-prone areas. During low tide periods or mega events, the barrier can be lowered to match the street level for easier crossing. Using the existing road barriers, we can make some improvements to it so as to deter any flash floods or open up to any major events.
